What to do:

Add to the "black list" of websites who are known for having stolen art pieces - it is at the bottom of the journal. Links will be added as needed.

Find the original owners of art that has been stolen by sites on the blacklist.

Find out what is the "nationality" of those websites, as the law differs in every country. Also, find out if the problem is a user of the website (like deviantART) or if the webmaster (or staff) is actually stealing artworks. This is very important, as the actions are very different.

Well, the lovely ~GaaraFangirl90 will now be the second head of this group, and I am very glad as she seems to be very devoted. Well, it was rather obvious that I wouldn't live on holidays for long...

I am currently hold by many projects that take a lot of my time and my energy, and I am therefore unable to maintain this group alive alone. However since this group had results and now some members I would love that some other people administrate it with me. I'll still be holding and managing the group but only partially: I'll still be available for everything concerning legal issues, but the promotion and management of the members and the black list ask some time that I don't have at the moment and probably won't have until several months. I know some of the members are willing to help, and, well, your help is more than welcome now

General rules
This group is meant to efficiently help artists whose art have been stolen. By efficiently, I mean that we are here to find solutions and be active. By being active, I certainly don't mean coming here to find thieves and post injurious comments on their blog/website/whatever.

Our goal is to use the law, which is on OUR side for most cases, to help us solve problems, not to try to force the blogger to take off art pieces.
